Where we don't take ourselves or the movies too seriously

Hailing from Sheffield, England, Paul Glazby is living proof that if you combine a love of hard house, 80s action movies and the gym, you end up with one of the most entertaining guest hosts in the Born to Watch family.

Long before he was headlining clubs and festivals around the world, Paul's DJ career began in the most legendary of venues, his bedroom. Armed with a pair of decks, relentless determination and a passion for hard house, he turned a hobby into a career that has seen him become one of the most respected names in the genre.

Away from the music, Paul's movie tastes are gloriously uncomplicated. If Sylvester Stallone or Arnold Schwarzenegger are on the screen, he's already sold. His love for 80s action movies borders on obsession, and he'll happily argue that modern action films just don't make heroes like they used to. Explosions, muscles, one-liners and impossible body counts? That's cinema.

When he's not behind the decks or revisiting another Stallone classic for the hundredth time, Paul is usually in the gym. A dedicated fitness fanatic, he spends almost as much time perfecting his physique as he does perfecting a DJ set. Some would say he's training. Others would argue he's just looking for another excuse to admire himself in the mirror. Paul would probably say it's both.

His appearances on Born to Watch always bring huge laughs, passionate movie debates and the unmistakable enthusiasm of someone who genuinely loves great entertainment. Whether he's defending Cobra, ranking the Rocky films or explaining why Commando deserves another watch, Paul never holds back.

Some say he can identify any hard house track within five seconds. Others reckon he knows every line from Predator by heart. Nobody has been brave enough to test either theory.

One thing is certain.

When the decks are spinning, the weights are lifting and Arnie is telling someone he'll be back, Paul is exactly where he wants to be.

Because for Paul Glazby, life is better with loud music, big muscles and even bigger explosions.

The 80's Action Movie Draft

80's Action movie Draft is here, and this week Born to Watch flips the script with something completely different… and completely unhinged. Instead of breaking down a single film, the boys jump into a full snake draft to build the ultimate lineup of 80s action movies. It sounds simple. It absolutely is not. Whitey, Dan, Bones and DJ Glaz enter the draft with a clear plan… which lasts about 30 seconds. The rules are straightforward. Every pick must be an action movie released between 1980 and 198...

Snatch (2000)

In the world of British crime cinema, few films capture the frenetic energy and dark humour of the underworld quite like Snatch (2000).
