Top Gun Maverick - Did it save the film Industry?
Steven Spielberg has come out and said that he believes that Tom Cruise and Top Gun Maverick has single handedly saved the film
Industry.
It’s an interesting statement but one that I tend to agree with. Top Gun Maverick was the first film post pandemic that topped the Billion Dollar range and also drove the public back into the cinemas.
Until then it seemed like Netflix and other VOD providers would render the cinema business dead.
