36 years in the making and it took one day to blow the world away. Top Gun Maverick was arguably the most anticipated movie of the last 5 years and when it eventually was released it was worth the wait.
For years there had been rumours of a Top Gun Sequel but nothing ever eventuated. We’re we lucky that we had to wait so long, I’d say yes. It meant we got the right people involved at the right time to produce a movie that is so perfectly done that it put almost every other sequel to shame. Top Gun Maverick is a fan service film done right. Tom Cruise, no matter your personal thoughts on him is an out and out super star and what he and Joseph Kosinski were able to produce is a timeless classic, already.
Absolutely worth the wait this is my favourite movie of 2022 and daylight is second.
