The Raid is a special kind of action movie and the boys discuss whether it is just basically a video game.
Just like Donkey Kong the hero must battle his way through many levels to get to the big baddy, this is The Raid in a nutshell. This absolutely does not detract from the fun or action of this film, it’s this simplicity that is its greatest achievement.
There is no doubt that many movies get bogged down in huge storyline’s, plot twists and an abundance of characters. The Raid purpose is to give the audience a rockin good time and when the plot is required it turns up and explains everything.
Absolutely love this movie and you should check it out when you can.
