This movie was arguably the most anticipated release of my life at the time. And whilst I wanted to love this so much, over time I have almost lost compete interest in my movie that isn’t the original trilogy.

“Star Wars: The Phantom Menace" is the first installment of the prequel trilogy in the Star Wars franchise, released in 1999. Directed by George Lucas, this film introduces the audience to a new cast of characters, as well as a new world filled with action, adventure, and suspense.

The film takes place in a galaxy far, far away and follows Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, as they protect Queen Amidala from the Trade Federation and the evil Darth Sidious. Along the way, they meet a young slave named Anakin Skywalker, who will eventually become the infamous Darth Vader.

One of the standout features of "The Phantom Menace" is its incredible visual effects and world-building. The film's stunning special effects and intricate set design transport the audience to a whole new universe, making it feel both familiar and entirely unique at the same time.

Additionally, the film boasts a strong cast, with standout performances from Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn and Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi. The characters are well-developed, and the relationships between them are dynamic and engaging.

However, despite its impressive visuals and talented cast, "The Phantom Menace" is not without its flaws. Some viewers may find the plot to be a bit slow-moving, and the dialogue can be a bit stiff and heavy-handed at times.

In conclusion, "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace" is a visually stunning and action-packed film that serves as an exciting introduction to the prequel trilogy. While it may have its flaws, it remains a must-watch for any fan of the Star Wars franchise
