JAWS is arguably the greatest movies ever made and changed the way movies were made forever. Without JAWS we would have the summer blockbuster and has confirmed that practical effects will always trump CGI.
The movie was a disaster to make, ran over budget and time, to the point that the studio almost lost faith.
Lucky for us they didn’t and Steven Spielberg pulled a rather large rabbit out of his hat and created an almost flawless classic.
