Great Scott, the Born To Watch crew are back for a full Back to the Future 2 (1989) Review, diving into the wildest and most ambitious sequel of the late 80s. Whitey, G-Man and Will strap into the DeLorean and head across four timelines, unpacking future fashion, dystopian Hill Valley, Biff's Trump-inspired empire, and the most famous hoverboard chase ever put to screen.

From the moment Alan Silvestri's iconic score kicks in, the boys are transported straight back to the feeling of seeing this film in cinemas. Whitey reveals it was his childhood favourite of the trilogy, G-Man recalls the hype of 1989, and Will admits the franchise has simply always been part of his life.

This YouTube version of the episode walks you through everything the crew loved and everything that makes no sense at all. They celebrate Michael J. Fox juggling multiple versions of himself, Christopher Lloyd stepping into a bigger role, and the brilliant chemistry between the two that anchors the entire film. There's big praise for the visual effects, especially the groundbreaking split-screen shots that still hold up today.

But they're also here to ask the big questions.
Can Old Biff actually fly a time machine? Why does he get "Time Sick" when no one else does? Why do Jennifer and Jennifer pass out, but Biff doesn't? How does Marty walk through dystopian Hill Valley without immediately realising everything has gone to hell?

The boys also pick apart the Easter eggs and homages, from Jaws 19 to the VHS window display, right through to the Indiana Jones hat-grab and the Dr Jones Manure Company gag. There's plenty of fun tangents as well, including yacht rock, Huey Lewis, Stranger Things, John Farnham fronting Little River Band, and a passionate debate about mermaid anatomy.

Stick around for box office stats, cast trivia, the story behind Elizabeth Shue stepping in, and a huge look at the film's lasting legacy. It's everything you love about Born To Watch: nostalgia, chaos, passion and a whole lot of laughter.
